My cover is on MMNieuws Magazine and my Augmented Reality is on the air on Beyond Reality

I've got my own MMNieuws magazines! With my own illustration on them!

The image is about new media techniques. After investigating the whole bunch of new techniques and looking up what the hell they all mean, I got interested in the phenomenon  Augmented Reality. It is a virtual reality that you can create using your webcam. So I decided to make the magazine a carrier for Augmented Reality, that's why you see the weird square head: it's a code. So, when reading the magazine, you could experience the possibilities of AR yourself.
Going for that, there was a lot more work to do, but it made it more fun and luckily the magazine people liked it.

They even made our work into a contest, you can guess which two artists you see in the AR-character Sander Kloppenburg (3D-modeling), Gijs Kusters (AR-programming) and I made and win a prize. I don't know what prize, but I entered the contest and I think I might win.

And a bio which they let me write myself, so I told the world that I'm a very cool person, but unfortunately they let that out. Now they'll never know.

The screenshots are an example of some fun you can have with Augmented Reality, using the magazine, the internet and a webcam.

Exposition at Hortus Arcadië, Nijmegen
My parents gave me an exposition of all my work (since, like, ever) for my 21st birthday! That was awesome. Here are some pictures of the happy opening, and some of how it all looked by daylight. (That's before lots of people I didn't know showed up. Whut!!)

Performance with the Dogs of Shame at Art Amsterdam

How I got into this: by being Wayne Horse's intern for a few months. I learned a lot, mostly about how much fun art can be.
The Dogs of Shame are a band I guess, I know it's Wayne Horse and Abner Preis, the other dude's name I forgot.
Here we (= Dogs + volunteers) are at the opening of Art Amsterdam, performing a reenactment of 'Beat it' by Michael Jackson.

I did not take the pictures myself, I got them off these websites right here:
